The Core Inserter is designed to insert a core automatically onto the winder mandrel prior to membrane winding.
Cores are loaded into Core Inserter from the Automatic Core Feeder. As the feeder releases one core at a time, a skewer picks up the core and moves it forward for placement onto the winder mandrel. The skewer then retracts and rotates back into position for the next core.
The Core Inserter can be utilized in conjunction with our exclusive Tapeless Winding System to wind membrane directly onto the core without the need for manual taping by the operator.
