The Nested Finished Product Accumulator is designed to accumulate finished modified bitumen membrane as it exits the production line. As material comes off the line, the system guides it into a controlled, back-and-forth nesting pattern, allowing product to be stored temporarily without stopping production. This motion creates a consistent flow of material into the accumulator while preventing overlapping issues, tension buildup, or misalignment.
By continuously feeding and releasing products as needed, the accumulator acts as a buffer between production and downstream processes such as winding, packaging, or inspection. This allows the line to keep running during brief slowdowns, changeovers, or interruptions further down the line.
