Pattern Cutting Carriage: The pattern cutting carriage is constructed using flanged rollers mounted on 2″ steel end plates, integrated with structural steel cross members for rigidity and long-term stability. An air‑atomized spray unit provides lubrication to the cutting cylinder to ensure clean and consistent pattern formation.
A hydraulic elevating mechanism positions the carriage within the shingle cutter frame. Cylinder height adjustments are performed using a worm‑gear actuation system, which indexes into a cross‑pin locating assembly to support repeatable and precise vertical positioning.
